Leto X is a modern cross stitch pattern shop featuring designs from me, Jamie Leija. Inspired by my Latina heritage, I employ bold colors and vibrant motifs into every pattern. A fourth generation maker, my family has passed down the desire to “make” in my genes. As a relatively new stitcher, I'm also interested in learning alongside you as I grows as a designer and a stitcher!

A graphic designer by trade and a decades long scrapbooker, I love playing with color, pattern and scale! I’m so excited to combine all of these facets into fun and vibrant cross stitch patterns.
I am still learning my design style! And I invite you to come along on the ride with me, as I’m sure my style will change and evolve as time goes on, and as I gain experience as a pattern designer.
But for starters there were a few themes I knew I wanted to begin with. Specifically, I’m interested in making patterns and designs that are personal to my lived experience. You could call it my "point of view!"
I am a Latina. I am a native San Antonian. And I have a family history of creativity/craftiness. So that’s what I used as inspiration for my first designs.

My debut “collection” includes:
the word “Besos” which means “kisses” in Spanish (hence the XOXO border)
A colorful and cute pattern to celebrate my hometown of San Antonio
Roses that celebrate the long line of crafty (as in crafts) women I am descended from
I designed all of these using Leto X’s brand colors. Not to worry, my next designs will include other colors. But for starters I wanted to have fun with this gorgeous combo.
I am so excited to share these with you as well as introduce one of the finishing styles I will be using going forward.
Even though Polaroids are technically retro, I feel like there’s also something super modern about them! So I wanted to capture that magic in my cross stitch projects. And yeah, you can take the girl away from her scrapbook but you can’t take the scrapbooker out of the girl! I just couldn’t help myself 😛
Cheers my dears!
Jamie
